How it all begin
How it begins
Born in 1919 and driven with the desire to make a legacy, Yang Sih Keh set sail from Wenzhou, China to Singapore in search of better prospects.
Armed with an acute business sense, he saw great potential in the carpentry industry during the early days. Shanghai Furniture Co was set up in 1944, and has since provide high quality customised carpentry services in Singapore.
In 1991, the company was handed over to his three sons, Yew Seng, Mun Kong and Mun Heng. Together, they brought the company to greater height with many portfolios in both residential and commercial sectors.
Influenced by past generations, WoodNWerks is a vision conceived by Yang Chee Hwa to provide a one stop renovation and carpentry solution to residential and commercial clients. With years of industry experience, WoodNWerks will help you to bring fashion and function together in creating a space you will love to live in.
